NENA ANDERSON BAND

Nena’s band will also be backing singers for this show!

Deane Cote on guitar, Jef Kmak on bass and Tim Petersen on drums. SPECIAL GUEST drummer “Nucci” will also be knocking out a few!

Coverting Hipsters to Honky-Tonkers since 2009, Brawley’s original songs blend seamlessly with country classics, and while being throughly modern, the influence of honky-tonk heroes like Faron Young, Merle Haggard, Dolly Parton, and Buck Owens is clearly there. Melodic harmony vocals by Nena Anderson and Adrian Demain are accented by the expressive pedal steel work of David Berzansky, held down by the rhythm section of Jim Austin on upright bass and Dale Daniel on the drums. Brawley will make you smile while you’re crying in your beer and have you signing up for those two-step classes you always wanted to take. @brawleyup

PEARL CHARLES

In 2018, Pearl released debut album, Sleepless Dreamer, which Rough Trade described as "The best country pop we've heard in years" and Buzzfeed called her "A modern June Carter meets Lana Del Rey."  With the release of the follow up, Magic Mirror and subsequent singles, Pearl continues to lean into her own brand of country-disco. @pearlcharles

SHANE SHIPLEY

Country rock singer/songwriter, Shane Shipley, is a San Diego native with Missouri roots, having lived a life most country writers can only fictionalize about. His rich voice and kick ass attitude delivered with a smile will make you an instant fan. @shane_shipley

JOEY HARRIS

Joey Harris is San Diego music royalty…a triple-threat, skilled songwriter, vocalist and guitar virtuoso. From the Beat Farmers , to the Pleasure Barons (with Country Dick Montana, Dave Alvin and Mojo Nixon) to Powerthud, to Joey Harris and the Mentals to the Tighten-Ups, Joey is a genre defying acrobat of music. Pictured here with Jef Kmak and Tim Petersen, who will both be joining us for Dolly night too! @joeyharris1234

CINDY LEE BERRYHILL

"A woman of Cindy Lee's capacity as a lyricist is unique, her insight and raw ability to articulate the human dilemma and articulate it in short order is peerless. She deserves a berth in any Hall of Fame, for the humanities she brings to the usual vanities of song-writing. Somehow I get the impression she knows her legacy will outlive her." –Van Dyke Parks One of the key early figures in the '80s anti-folk movement, singer and songwriter Cindy Lee Berryhill's music combines a deeply personal point of view and an edgy wit leavened with a compassion for the world around her. She is featured in the documentary "Mariposa: Under a Stormy Sky" along with Emmylou Harris, The Violent Femmes, Daniel Lanois and others. Her most recent album “The Adventurist” was nominated for Album of the Year at 2018 San Diego Music Awards.

RHEANNA DOWNEY & MOLLY JENSON

(Of Shhhhh), are both accomplished singers and songwriters with 20 years of experience between them. Rheanna, known for her vast repertoire and lush vocals, released her second full-length album during the pandemic. Molly, known for her incredibly versatile voice, has recorded with For The Sender, Sam Outlaw, Greg Laswell, and Jon Foreman (to name a few!) and has released several solo albums. @rheannadowney @mollyjay @shhhhhtheband

SARA PETITE

“She can sing a buzzard off of a slop wagon.” – Mojo Nixon, Sirius Outlaw Country Radio Transplanted to San Diego from a tulip farming town in Washington – and influenced by artists as diverse as Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, Dolly Parton and June Carter to Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen and John Mellencamp -- Petite has toured all over the U.S. and Europe. 5-time San Diego Music Award Winner @sarapetite_sweetpea

TIM PETERSEN

You’ve seen Tim drumming for Nena’s band and in Beautiful Beast, Joey Harris & the Mentals, and Salty Papas, but did you know he sings too? Tim’s secret power is channeling Kenny Rogers…
